Adult SCORPION specimen carefully placed under clear preserving and setting material, probably acrylic or hard, clear lucite compound, about 4” across in a domed configuration, and set in a natural, multi-colored sand base, simulating a natural habitat.
Think of amber in prehistoric times...
Useful in explaining, teaching, showing and discussing the appearance and biology of scorpions and arachnids.
Although not presently endangered, Item promotes understanding and appreciation of nature and wildlife and negates need to gather additional Scorpion specimen.
Interesting display item, instructional aid, paper weight that is a sure conversation starter and will trigger memories of fun and exciting camping, hiking and other outdoor adventures.
Condition is "Used". No obvious damage or indication of excess wear and tear although not new and has been handled previously.
