cd Longbox by Violent Femmes of the album release called " 3 " . This Longbox release was originally issued in 1988 on the Slash Records label with a CAT. NR . :25819-2.  The nostalgic CD LONGBOX was popular in record & cd stores during the early 1980's through the early 1990's . This cardboard longbox protected the condition of the cd & jewel case and provided a nice graphical marketing tool as well.   The Longbox gave way, by the mid-90's,  to the  more simple form of shrink wrap protection.  Now, only a select few titles become available in a longbox packaging for retail.   These longboxes are in demand for avid fans adding to one's  personal album or cd collection.  You can Hang them on a Wall or Place them on a Shelf  for

of your Office , Dorm Room , or Entertainment Area of your house.   Many Collectors & Avid Fans today place and store their own cd's back inside the Longbox as well.

longbox measures 5 3/4" w X 12 1/2" h X 1/2" d .  The cd was removed from the bottom of the longbox a number of years ago.  The condition of this empty longbox is in Very Nice condition - with the original shrink wrap still intact - keeping the dimentional integrity.  This longbox has Never been flattened or removed from its original shrink wrap .The longbox was cut open with a razor blade on the back side at the very bottom adjacent to the bottom flaps  - to remove the cd - a number of years ago.  Again, this longbox is empty and
