Kentucky estate sale find. This ~Vintage Stevens Kaleidoscope with Red And Blue Snowflake. From Stevens Mfg Company Saint Louis, Mo. This Kaleidoscopes has arranged mirrors and objects in the tube which when turned makes beautiful patterns.
Kaleidoscopes’s were originally not intended to be just a toy, The devices were also intended for use by designers and artist.
This was apparently given as a gift at some point, because someone has written, 1936 From: Sister Isabell. It is hard to see, but it is there.
This Kaleidoscope is in good shape for its age, and shows only normal wear.
