Vintage Brass/Copper Kaleidoscope On Figural Brass Griffin With Wood Base

Thanks to one very special donor, we have this amazing and very unusual vintage brass and copper kaleidoscope.  It appears to be made by Corkie Weeks in the year 1986/1987.  It has double wheels and is in very good condition.  It works perfectly but has some tarnish.  The unusual part of this kaleidoscope is a Griffin which is made of brass.  It stands on a wooden base.  It weights around 7lb and 6 oz.  It is approximately 15 inches from the wheels to the eyepiece. The overall height is 11.5".   The wooden base is approximately 14 inches long and 6 inches wide.  I am unable to notice any missing pieces from the wheels.  All the glass and prisms appear to be in place.
