    This is a stained glass parlor scope by award-winning scope maker, Nedra Reed.
    This is a parlor scope, which has an attached stand.  These parlor scopes were very popular in Victorian times and have resurged in popularity with interest in kaleidoscope collecting.  It is made of a beautiful light purple and white swirly glass. The scope is about 9 inches high from table to eye piece and about 9.5 inches from eye piece to wheels. It has lighting in the base, which can be seen in the picture.  The lighting is on a switch and powered by two small batteries.  (Please note that the lighting does not light up the image).  The outside is decorated with brass wire, glass globs and decorative solder.
    There are two wheels on the end which provide great images.   You can view both wheels as shown , or one at a time, or reverse the wheels.
    This is a one-of-a-kind scope.
