What is a Misread?
A misread is when the ball rolls away from your intended path more than 2-inches; a common occurrence for those
not
engaging
EGOS
.
For example, a 5-ft putt you read “straight-in” is stroked perfectly yet rolls over the cup edge. This 2¼” misread & miss does
not
happen with golfers proficient  in EGOS.

I recently purchased one of the P&SI-EGOS putters. It’s difficult to determine where to start the review as both the greenreading system and putter are excellent individually. However, together they create a synergistic effect that will completely reform and/or improve the most important part of your game.
Firstly, the greenreading system. Having been educated in the AimPoint system, I felt I knew how to read or feel greens..
I was wrong. The system allows for greater accuracy and eliminates misperceptions. Even when I utilized AimPoint my eyes still deceived me if I looked at the green during my feel read. The P&SI system completely eliminates this issue. Once you learn the plumbline, angle

gap concepts the “mystery” of greenreading is replaced
with
an exactness that makes greenreading enjoyable.
Now for the putter. While the putter is an excellent tool which facilitates the reading of the greens, it is an excellent putter on its own. The 360 degree balance eliminates the compensating motions that are required with all putters without this feature. Realize that all toe hang putters require either a manipulation during the motion to maintain a square blade angle or the player has to hold the putter very tightly to counteract the “opening” which occurs with all toe hang putters. To be honest, it took me several rounds and practice sessions to rid myself of the impulsive, compensating motions I had grooved into my putting stroke over the many years of playing golf. Once I realized that I was slightly “flipping” during the thru motion in an attempt to close the blade
,
my putting improved tremendously. When you think about it “where are most putts missed for right hand players”...to the right! Not because of a bad read, but because of a poorly designed putter. And the golfing industry knows it!!
I feel very fortunate to have found the P&SI-EGOS system and putter. Having the knowledge gained from their website and utilizing the putter there is no way

could revert back to my previous method.
Putting and greenreading is now actually an enjoyable experience!
Lastly...I hope the above does not sound like a sales pitch! But, it is hard to curb my enthusiasm for the system. Not that it matters, but I am a
