VERY NICE 1929-S Standing Liberty Silver Quarter  VG to F
Offered today is this very nice 1929-S Standing Liberty Silver Quarter in what I would consider to be Very Good to Fine condition based on the David C. Harper U.S. Coin Digest coin condition grading guide.  Although outer ring is visibly and evenly worn, coin exhibits nice strike relief  with all letters and numbers clearly visible.  In addition to its pleasing aesthetics and numismatic value, the coin contains .18084 oz pure silver.  From purely an illustration standpoint, silver spot at .00/oz would make the coin worth approximately .34 in silver melt value alone.  Of course, this melt value will fluctuate with the price of silver.  Needless to say, this nice Standing Liberty Quarter is much too nice for melt!  Either way, this is an excellent representative example of this particular coin, and would be a worthy addition to any collection.
