    Description

    Up for auction is one lot of miscellaneous papers and music scores from jazz musician Joe Bonner (
    April 20, 1948 – November 20, 2014).    The stack of papers is about 3 1/2 inches thick.   Joe Bonner was a jazz pianist who worked with some jazz legends.   Mr Bonner passed away in Denver Colorado.
    Bonner was born in Rocky Mount, North Carolina, moved to Harlem at age eleven, and started playing around New York City with Thad Jones, Harold Vick, Mel Lewis, Leon Thomas and Max Roach.
    He moved to Colorado in 1976.  Bonner played alongside Freddie Hubbard, Roy Haynes's Hip Ensemble, Pharoah Sanders and others.  Joe regularly plated at the Mercury Cafe
