DEBBIE ENGLE HAND MADE FIGURINE OF A BICHON FRISE DOG, OOAK, 1980s

Description

Debbie Engle is an award winning canine artist whose work is coveted and appears in many major dog collections. Well known for her bronze sculptures, her early work was sold at dog shows and featured these hand made clay figurines of dogs in appealing poses. I purchased a number of her figurines for my collection back in the early 1980's. This Bichon is playing with a rosette that she must have been awarded at a dog show. Her face shows she knows she is being naughty! The figurine is signed by the artist and measures 4 3/4" long by 2 3/4" tall. This is a one of a kind figurine.
