1927-S STANDING LIBERTY QUARTER RARE IN XF LOW MINTAGE

Description

Quarter dollar production plunged at the San Francisco Mint in 1927 to only one-seventh the number of pieces struck there the year before. Though certainly a scarce coin across all grades, the rarity of the 1927-S quarters are rare only in grades XF and higher.
